課程概述 |
The course includes topics on General Education and Popular Sciences which are simultaneously delivered through and supported in online learning.
The course introduces ICT-based (Information and Communication Technology) tools and techniques of constructing a learning framework which guides students to define and manage, extend and expand their own personal second/foreign language learning in their chosen major field/s of study.

課程目標 |
The course employs a blended learning framework (ICT-based and face-to-face format) of foreign language learning experience constructed through individual and group tasks (e.g. symposium on movie, dialogue & interview, virtual tour) which supports students’ personal learning goals and efforts. It engages students in active viewing, reading, listening and writing of materials about academic and cultural topics, and thus, prepare them for active interaction with others and creative production of works in both oral and written forms. |

Students are expected to have a GEPT-intermediate level of language proficiency or its equivalent.
Grading Scheme
Online Listening/Reading: OL/RCP and/or OEP 20%
Survey and Report: Written Outline 20%
Group/Individual Survey and Oral Report 20%
Final Test: GEPT 20%
ICT-based Writing Test 20%
IMPT:
Students who submit late homework will automatically receive a failing score. Make-up tests/presentations may ONLY be arranged under unavoidable circumstances.
